Dave played his career as a QB and started playing football in 1975 at the peewee level in Nanaimo, BC where he played until moving on to the Cowichan Chiefs from 79- 80 winning the V.I. Championships finishing as provincial finalists both years.

From there he played in the BCFL with the Vancouver Meralomas until he then moved on to Simon Fraser University until an injury sidelined him. He finished his final playing days with the Richmond Raiders of the BCJFL winning the provincial championships.

He then started into coaching with peewee in North Vancouver for a year then was a QB coach with the Carson Graham Eagles in North Vancouver. He moved back to the island for work and coached community ball for the Cowichan Chiefs for a couple seasons as the head coach winning the island title and provincial finalists both seasons. A

He again moved back to Vancouver and coached QB’S with the Richmond Raiders tier 2 team. During his time he was a guest coach with the Don Heinrich All-Star camp as well as the Western Canadian All-Star camp in BC.

He is now currently a QB coach with Brett Morgan’s 904 Elite QB camp that operates all over the U.S. and Alberta.
